“ Great Korean place! Very nice variety, the plates were tasty and the complimentary banchan is really appreciated. The service was quick and friendly. No complains at all. ”
“ La Maison de Seoul has to be one of the BEST korean restaurants in Montreal. They use fresh and quality ingredients, which gives each dish their unique and delicious flavor. You can tell a lot of time and effort were put in each dish. The workers are also very kind and friendly. Definitely would go back again. This place is a hidden gem, solid 5 stars. ”
“ Best homemade Korean meal I’ve had in a while. The food is delicious, portions are generous and the price is reasonable. The service was really good. A gem I will go back for sure. If I lived in the neighbourhood I’d be a regular. Thank you. ”
“ I found a Korean gem in Lasalle! Just when I thought I would be having yet again another disappointing, quasi-Korean food, the chef really delivered. The jjampong and seafood tofu soups were as good as you would have it in Korea. Finally! Love. Love. Love. The portions are generous. So be ready. There are no Korean restaurants in Montreal that serve authentic flavours. Till now. ”
“ Sep-22: Update with our best meal in ever. The lady owner/chef was most welcoming and kind. She was friendly and service was prompt and courteous. The service she provided today should be the standard going forward :) Jjampong and house salad with home-made Korean mustard dressing was excellent. Undeniably great jjampong and salad. That’s all we need. Jun-22: Authentic Korean food. No frills, just pure good soul food. They provide good entrees, their salad with their home-made dressing with a hint of wasabi is just one of the best salad dressing I have ever had. Their Jjampong (16 before tax) is our favourite with smoky seafood umami in their broth. Their Japchae (15) is nice. We ordered their seafood pancake for the first time and I’m disappointed with the burnt vegetables bits, the dough is just so thick and there’s not much to like so I don’t recommend this dish. The service... has some room for improvement, the lady cashier could be more helpful. She seemed very disinterested and was not happy having us dine there at all. The several times we were here last year, they had a nice waitstaff/cashier and he was checking in with us from time to time to make sure everything was okay. Today, it was impossible to get her attention even though we were the only customers in the restaurant (and they were done with their take away orders). All in all, we always return for their Jjampong, realiably good every single time, but I wish they bring back the male cashier from last year for improved service. ”
“ It’s so nice to have a Korean restaurant that still serves appetizer dishes after the pandemic. Everything is homemade and fresh. Nice chewy and flavorful black bean noodles. The original flavored fried chicken is marinated with salt and black pepper; not much meat, though very crispy. The seafood pancake was ok; enjoyed it more with the homemade dipping sauce. Friendly family owned restaurant. Take away food packages are impeccable. ”
“ An authentic tiny and cozy Korean restaurant that has the best food ever We were very hungry and were craving Korean food and went in without any reservations and it was the best decision ever From the salad to the soup to the seafood pancakes and finally to the main meal of bulgogi and kimchi bibimbap the food was exquisitely delicious Each bite had the best blend of flavors and it really filled up our appetite The perfect 10/10 place to go for Korean food for it will definitely not disappoint family or friends ”
“ We arrived the restaurant a bit lat with heavy rain outside but the service was still very very nice. They even provides us warm tea. We ordered the dolsot bibimbap and cupbap and mandu. The side dishes weren’t limited and the salad was very fresh. All their food were so delicious and the price was very reasonable. Would definitely visit there again. :D ”
